The induction process begins with the unit election, then continues into the Pre-ordeal, into the Ordeal, and ends with the completion of the brotherhood. Polestar training is designed to teach lodges how to build excellence in the executive of the induction process and helps lodge leaders work to improve membership activation and retention.
The training in Tahosa Lodge is hosted annually and presented to the entire lodge. The training consists of an engaging two-hour video presentation, coupled with locally facilitated group discussions and workshops through the Participant Workbook. It is geared towards Lodge and Chapter Advisers, Lodge and Chapter Officers, and members who participate in lodge induction weekends, lodge elections, and OA Reps, to help better the connection between the lodge and the units, specifically through our inductions.

Our annual polestar training has been conducted for the 2024 year. There is no scheduled polestar training until 2025.
